We had to stay a night in the Sunway area. Last time we stayed at Clio but since it's only a night, we opted for a simple hotel. And Artisan Eco Hotel was our choice.
The hotel is on top of a Nasi Kandar Pelita. So once you pull in the strip mall, just locate the Nasi Kandar Pelita then the entrance is just to the right of the restaurant. Once you enter the sliding door, there's a ramp up to a half floor where an elevator will take you to the lobby on the second floor.
I think in total there were only four floor. We got a room on second floor. A tiny room which reminded us of a Japanese hotel. There was no windows in the room other than the bathroom. I thought that was weird. We went in the room and I checked my Agoda booking. My booking showed that we should have a window. So we brought it up to the front desk. They searched for our reservation and found out that there was a mishap with Agoda. Agoda misrepresented the room to us. Agoda sold a room with window to us but then informed the hotel that the room they sold was one without window. And according to front desk that wasn't the first time it happened. 😒
It's only one night so we accepted our room. That night we didn't get back to hotel until almost 9pm. The following day we left at 8 in the morning. I must say that the front desk has been very polite, apologetic and tried their best to explain to us. Kudos to them ! 😍
