On this road trip to Kuantan, we travelled with family that like it being impromptu. No hotel booking. Let's see what's available and decide. Okay. Not exactly my style of travel but it's a road trip so it's easier to look around for hotels.
Our first choice was Mega View by Kuantan River. It's in town so we may not need to drive to find food. We went there and asked front office for the price. It's out of our league. We went to our car and checked Agoda. The price is still out of our league. 😂
Next target was the one next to it which is Sentral Kuantan Hotel. We would still get the river view. This time we liked the Agoda price and straight away booked it. Then we went down and checked in.
Our room faced the river and the huge windows in our room gave us nice view of the river. The wall behind the bed is an accent wall with bright yellow color. It's a great idea and brighten the room giving it a cheerful note. Like sunshine !😍
We don't have any complaints about this hotel except the toilet water tank filled up very slowly. We couldn't do a toilet flush back to back. 😟
The following morning we had breakfast at the hotel as part of our reservation. The selection were limited to french toast, nasi lemak with a few simple condiments, fried noodle, cereal, bread and toast. Last but not least hard boiled egg and some fresh cut fruits.
