Restoran Do Re Mi Part 2- Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

The part 1 of this post was from a few months prior. Please read the post here to see what else is available at this kopitiam.

This kopitiam has the most hard working vendors. Some of the kopitiam open only from morning until 3 pm. But this kopitiam opens on lunch time and also dinner time. We were not sure whether they open for breakfast as we usually go during lunch or dinner time. But Google posts their hours as 7 am - 9:30 pm. So there you go !

One evening we visited this kopitiam for dinner. Hubby ordered a bowl of rice porridge. I wasn't very hungry so I opted for satay. There was a satay vendor there that we haven't tried yet. I ordered 3 pork mooping (3 for RM 10 equal USD 2.26). Mooping is a Thai style pork satay that's made of ground pork mixed with milk (and probably other ingredients). 😉

Along with the mooping, I also ordered 10 chicken satay and one nasi impit (rice cake). The satay did take a while to arrive because they were freshly made. But the chicken satay were huge and meaty. The sauce was delicious as well. If you are hungry make sure to order more nasi impit (rice cake) as one rice cake was pretty small. Total of the pork mooping satay, chicken satay and rice cake was RM 27 (USD 6.04).
