We accidentally came across this restaurant one evening as we walked back from our dinner. It's actually a few street up from our hotel. We kept that in mind as we know that this type of noodle is usually pretty heavy in carb. 

Today we decided that we should give it a try. We had in mind what we wanted to order. When we walked in there was a party of three at the counter. So while they placed their orders, we had more time to finalize our thoughts on our order.

As we waited by the counter, we noticed an area where there were containers filled with fried peanuts, pickled cabbage and lettuce leaves. Apparently those are free for customers to pick up and refill. Interesting. Later on as we waited for our orders, we took advantage of this and treated ourselves to peanuts and pickled cabbage. 😁

Our orders surprisingly took a long time. There was another big group sitting outside and perhaps their orders were still being fulfilled when we arrived. But other than that the restaurant only had three tables including our table.

When we finally got our orders of special beef noodle and pork belly in garlic sauce, they didn't look like what we expected. The broth lacked flavor. The noodle we picked was the most thin noodle and it lacked the bounciness. In fact the staff forgot to ask us what type of noodle we wanted. 😕 The pork belly looked yellowish instead of deep brown color. But other than appearance, the pork belly also lacked flavor. The cut for the pork belly was thin and the pork belly was too lean !
