Taiyo apartment and hotel - Danang, Vietnam

Danang was our destination after Hoi An. We rented a car with a driver to transport us from Hoi An to this Taiyo Hotel. The "taxi" and driver cost VND 250k (USD 9.68). The journey took less than one hour.

When we reached the hotel I was a bit surprised. My first reaction was is this the right hotel. But when I looked at the name and the map and both were correct. I thought hmm perhaps I made a mistake with this hotel. The hotel was located at a corner of a street. Across from the street was an empty lot with unfinished construction/ruins). That's why I was a bit skeptical. I read some negative reviews on Google regarding this matter as well.

When we reached our room, we felt better. The room was bright with a small kitchen area equipped with enough kitchen utensils to do light cooking. There was also a small table that later on we used as working area.

A rolling door separated the bedroom with the balcony. The balcony was the greenest balcony I have ever seen. Got lots of plants which I'm sure will keep the place cooler during the hot months. The most exciting thing for me was to find a stacked washer dryer in the bathroom ! 😁 We'll have clean clothes everyday now.

The only thing that I would complain about that place was the comforter. They need to change the thin comforter into a thicker one. That comforter was seriously the thinnest comforter I have ever encountered. I guess it could be used for hot months. But we were there in March and the temperature was 15℃ in the morning.

I will do separate post for the breakfast. We loved the breakfast there. From noodle soup, eggs, bread to sausages and pastries. I felt that we ate well during our five day stay there.
