Great Indian Cuisine - Santa Clara, US
Indian food is one of the cuisine we miss when we were away from SF Bay Area. The Nasi Kandar in Malaysia just didn't cut it. It's different.
So when we were back and meeting up some friends, we suggested Indian food. Our friend suggested this place in Santa Clara. It wasn't very busy when we arrived on Friday afternoon. Though it was lunch time, there were only a few tables occupied. There were some people stopped by every so often to pick up their orders.
For about USD19, I think it's worth to try this buffet. These days I don't really eat a whole lot when it comes to buffet. I think of it as the price to pay to try a varieties of dishes. Obviously if I were to try so many dishes most likely would cost me more and would be wasteful since I won't be able to finish them all.
The restaurant wasn't very big. There were some booth seats on one side and then some table seats. We chose one of the booth away from the buffet counter. The buffet selections were not a whole lot but they cover most of the "necessary" items like butter chicken, goat curry and tandoori chicken. The goat curry was the must try item and it truly didn't disappoint.
