Little Woodhouse Chinese Cooking 小木屋中国煮炒 - Kuching, Malaysia

A stall within Gala Street Mall that specializes mainly in Chinese Mainland cooking. They start in the evening around 5 pm. Some of the dishes they offer was pickle mustard fish soup (酸菜鱼).

While we were there we did not dare to try their pickle mustard fish soup. Not sure about the pricing. So we ordered spicy popcorn chicken (辣子鸡) and garlic pork ribs (葱排骨) and an eggplant green bean stir fry veggies.

The spicy popcorn chicken was very flavorful. It may look spicy with so much chili on a plate but in fact it was pretty mild. Unless you purposely bite into the chilies, I think you would be fine eating this dish even if you're not a chili head.

Garlic pork ribs was cooked in a similar fashion as the spicy popcorn chicken. Small pieces of pork ribs deep fried into golden color then seasoned with salt, onion and MSG (?). 

All the dishes went well with rice.

Bigger group would have been better to allow trying different dishes. Recommended for different ways of cooking Chinese dishes.
