Premier 101 Food Centre - Kuching, Malaysia

We noticed that his food court is very close to our Airbnb at Gala Residences. So that became our choice for dinner spot the first day we arrived.

We probably arrived too early as the food court was not very busy yet. We made a round "investigating" what's available before deciding to order grilled chicken wings, satay and fried noodle (char kway teow).

As we sat there waiting for the food then some of the stalls that looked abandoned started coming to live. Tables around us started to get filled. The sky turned dark and the lights from the stalls brighten the food court. Some kids came to offer their items unfortunately those items didn't suit us so we could not help.

The barbecue chicken wings were good. Some of the tips were a bit charred due to the sweet marinate. The chicken and beef satays were awesome as well. Those two items tend to be on the sweet side. The fried noodle was yummy and smoky.

By the time we left, the place was way busier than when we arrived. So the best time to visit is probably after 6:30 pm though that also means a bit harder to find tables.
