Aveta Hotel Malioboro - Yogyakarta, Indonesia

We picked this hotel due to its proximity to Malioboro. We would take train there and fly back. The train to the airport would also be at the Tugu train station which is just a stone throw away from Malioboro.

We walked to Aveta from the train station though we had to stop a few times because of the rain. Luckily the rain wasn't very strong and didn't last long. By the time we reached hotel the rain stopped already.

The entrance to the hotel isn't very clear. We saw a cafe at the location of the hotel on Google map. Confused, we walked in and asked a staff there. They clarified that the hotel is indeed there but the reception is on the eighth floor. Interesting.

After we checked in and received our access card, we went back to sixth floor to get to our room. Our room is pretty spacious with a window facing the small side road. Our view wasn't great as the window overlooked the roof of the Malioboro Mall next door. 😂 It could be worse though.

There is a lounge chair with a short table by the window. There was also a desk and a chair. The water kettle and beverage was on the desk as well. We were told that there was gift in the room. I was excited to find out what it was. I found the gift in the minibar. There were two bottles of orange juice, cookies and a pack of chips included in the free minibar. That's a nice touch.

In general the room and also bathroom looked decent and well taken care of. I found out that the hotel was opened in 2019.
