Ayam Goreng Rempah Kurnia - Jakarta, Indonesia
We found this restaurant on IG and thought to give it a try. When we reached there it was slightly after 12 and there were a few tables occupied. There were a few seats set up outdoor but though it was over cast we chose to sit indoor just in case the outdoor area turns out to be for smoking area.
The menu was simple. Their specialty is fried chicken and grilled chicken. The rice could be white steam rice or coconut rice. Other side dishes include empal which is a fried marinated beef, fried tofu and fried tempeh. Other dishes include sayur asem a Sundanese style tangy vegetable soup and also stir fry kangkong.
We chose a varieties of combo pack which includes fried/grilled chicken with fried tofu and fried tempeh. Then we also ordered some other side dishes to support our protein intake.
In general it turned out to be a nice meal. Simple fried/grilled chicken with rice/coconut rice. Fried chicken with rice and fried tempeh/tofu is actually a very Indonesian meal. 😁
