Orange Hotel - Zhangjiajie City, China

We reached this hotel pretty late as we travelled from Wudang Mountain to Zhangjiajie City. By the time we reached the hotel it was passed 10 pm. The girl at the receptionist area seemed fine in the beginning. She asked for our passports then asked which reservation was it under. I pointed to my passport. I was searching my reservation screenshot to show her. But she said she found it.

She mentioned you guys are three people. I said yes we booked two rooms. She seemed impatient and repeated almost the same thing. Maybe she only reiterate the fact that there were three of us. Anyhow she was impatient especially when one of us asked her what it meant when she asked for our local number and we said we didn't have any. She said a long sentence which we didn't comprehend and we asked her to clarify. 

Just after we received our key access, she said her memorized line of breakfast information. At that point I didn't even bother to ask her again. I figured that most hotel almost always have the same breakfast hour. But my SIL asked her to clarify and she almost yelled at her. Did she think we were deaf ?

The interesting part was, after the initial conversation, I told our group that this lady had attitude. At the time the front desk staff was making copies of our passports. I was sure she heard our conversation because when she came back, her attitude was slightly better.

Oh well, other than that, we loved this hotel. I said this was the best hotel we stayed during this trip ! 😍 The room was spacious. We received a welcome gift of plum tea and a platter of fruits. The best thing in our room was the seating area that looks like a diner table. That's definitely the best seating area we ever had in a hotel room. I feel that we could stay a long time in a room like that.

The shower area was clean. Toilet was separated but still within bathroom area. The sink was actually installed outside the bathroom. I like that separation as it allows other people to brush teeth while the other occupant uses the bathroom. Smart.

Their laundry room was amazing too. The washers and dryers can be set up to send messages to Wechat account to notify us that our laundry has completed.
