Day 2 Wulingyuan : Huangshizai and Surrounding

Our hotel front desk aka Joan and Xiao Tu have arranged for us to go to Huangshizai today. It's a part of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park accessible from South Gate. This national park is huge and the South Gate is about 30 minutes away by car from Wulingyuan.

That morning it was gloomy but we still left hoping that the weather would get better later. Our tour leader aka Xiao Tu, the front desk person has checked the weather and even sent the link to us so we could always check it ourselves. 

That part of the park was actually quiet, less people compared to the part that we went to the previous day. It's not quite raining yet so we had plenty of chances to take photos. We did that and found a bus to go up to Huangshizai. There's no line at the ropeway station either. 

We saw beautiful pilars covered in mysterious fog on the way up. By then it was already misty but the fog made those pillars look more mysterious. Very beautiful and made you feel so small among them.

Up at Huangshizai we managed to see some mountain in between fog.
