Kungfu Ramen Sunway Mentari - Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Found this restaurant pretty close to our neighborhood. We walked there one evening to give it a try. On the way there I realized why the name sounded familiar. There was one in the neighborhood of Kelana Jaya.

When we reached there, it was pretty quiet inside. We took a seat and were brought menu. A female staff pointed to a QR code on the table for ordering.

We ordered beef noodle soup, grilled lamb skewers, beef meat bun and chicken dry dumpling.

The beef noodle soup came out first. Looked pretty convincing. The noodle is thin, the broth had some slices of daikon. There was quite a generous amount of thinly sliced beef.

The chicken dumpling were the right size but the content a bit too salty for my taste. The rou jia mo (beef meat bun) was delicious. The bun had layers pastry with some ground beef inside. The pastry was crispy. I think this beef bun is easily one of the best rou jia mo I have ever had.

The lamb skewers came last. The size was decent. The meat was quite tender, unfortunately a bit too salty for my taste.

I think we definitely would visit this place again. Their price was on point. Their menu was quite decent so we are looking forward to try other items.

Total bill with a drink RM 46.64 (USD 11.42).
