Still open for take out : Pho Lan - Richmond, BC

After a few days of staying home and eating home cooked food, we decided to do a take out of Vietnamese pho noodle soup. Our regular restaurant in the neighborhood Pho An Nam closed due to COVID-19. So we decided to try Pho Lan again. We have been there before we moved to the neighborhood.

They only did take out and accepted cash only. There was a menu posted at the window so we decided before we went in and ordered. It took about 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready. So we walked around the block and went back.

Our order was #33 grilled pork with vermicelli and #8 beef noodle (rare beef, tripe, tendon and flank). The XL size was very generous so we both had enough share of noodle and protein even among both of us. The grilled pork came with one fried spring roll. For you who never tried this before. The vermicelli is usually served with some shredded pickled white radish and carrot. A small tub of sweet salty tangy sauce was provided to be poured on the vermicelli before serving. The grilled pork was well marinated and we could taste the lemon grass as one of the seasoning used.
